NOTE 3: This setup was made with a PS3 controller & may or may not work with steering wheel setup.

NOTE 4: See below for changes you can make on a pit stop, If you're running in a league that only allows default setups, but do allow changes during pit stops.

How does it work with full damage on a long run

I only play with "full damage", but do not know if this helps in your case. On long runs my front tires get a lot of wear, which decreases forward bite and causes the car to tighten up on exit. With a tight car, this makes it difficult as you exit turn 2, which will lead to smacking the wall a few times if you don't back off the throttle. The damage will only cause the car to tighten up even more.

I have the same issues on both my setup, as well as rockit's (above). All you can do is be conservative and run about 165 through the corners to save your tires. Do not chance taking a 2-tire stop. Any small changes to the setup causes the backend of the car to come out from under you in the middle of the corner.

TEXAS LEAGUE PITSTOP CHANGES

For those of you that race in Leagues that run with default setups and only are able to adjust your settings in the pits, heres a few changes you can make at Texas Night that worked pretty good for me. The only problem is you only have so much time to make these changes while coming down pit road, so I suggest taking advantage of every pitstop until you've made all the changes. Anyway, here goes:

Psi settings: Both Left: 12 / Both Right 24

Wedge: Change to 48.22 or 47.93

Grill Tape: 70%

With these changes, you have alot of grip in the turns, even on worn tires. Just tap the brake a little in the beginning of the turns, (after getting up to speed), then hit the gas again. The nice thing about these settings is that when your tires wear you don't notice it in the handling too much until they turn bright red. Then you start moving up the track a little.

Good Luck!
